Matthew stars in HBO’s smash hit House of the Dragon, as the master manipulator Larys Strong. He is currently filming a series regular on Blade Runner 2099 for Amazon Prime. Last year he starred in Ridley Scott’s Napoloen, playing Lucien Bonaparte, brother to Joaquin Phoenix’s Napoleon.  He also starred in the latest BBC One adaptation of Great Expectations. Other screen credits include Sanditon (ITV), Chernobyl (HBO) and Doctor Who (BBC).  On stage, Matthew starred as John Buchannan in the award winning 2018 adaptation of Summer and Smoke for the Almeida Theatre, transferring to the West End in 2019 to critical acclaim. Other stage credits include Fairview (Young Vic), Cock (Chichester) and The Treatment(Almeida).
